type \/status [status_name][period_of_time]<\/code> in the message editor of any direct message or channel, then press enter. Your status will be immediately updated. Handling your availability<\/h2>\n\n\n\n
The small dot at the bottom right of your profile picture is an indicator of your status – Online<\/strong>, Offline<\/strong>, or if a DnD<\/strong> (Do not Disturb) mode is on. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
Pumble will automatically determine your availability: <\/p>\n\n\n\n

- You\u2019re set to active<\/strong> when the app is open on any of your devices – PC<\/strong>, laptop<\/strong>, or mobile<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n
- You\u2019re set to away<\/strong> after 30 minutes<\/strong> of inactivity on desktop app<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n
You can manually choose whether to receive notifications or not by using the DnD mode<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Moreover, you can set yourself away<\/strong> by following these steps:<\/p>\n\n\n

Setting yourself away won’t affect how you receive Pumble notifications.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
If you are active but your status is set to ‘away’, Pumble will send you a reminder to update your visibility.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Customizing your status<\/h3>\n\n\n\n
Apart from setting up your status as Online<\/strong>, Offline<\/strong>, or putting it in the DnD mode<\/strong>, you can also customize it according to your preferences and depending on your online activity. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
To do that:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

- Click on Update your status <\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n
- In the Set status<\/strong> modal that appears, click on the status icon <\/li>\n\n\n\n
- Choose the appropriate emoji from the list and type in the status<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n
