For example if you’re leading a project and need to gather your team for a kickoff meeting. With Pumble’s native commands, you can effortlessly facilitate this process while maintaining clarity and efficiency.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Create meeting links<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Create Meeting links to start calls and connect with anyone in your workspace. To create a meeting link using native commands:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

  1. Navigate to the DM or channel where you wish to initiate the meeting<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  2. Type \/meet in the message editor<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  3. Press Enter to complete the action<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n

    A new meeting link will be instantly generated for you to use.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    If your workspace is on a free subscription plan, you\u2019ll get a message informing you that an upgrade of the workspace subscription is required in order to use meeting links.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    Set your status<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

    Keep your team informed about your availability by setting your custom status. To set a status using Pumble native commands:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    1. Type \/status [status_name][period_of_time] in the message editor of any channel\/DM<\/li>\n\n\n\n
    2. Press Enter to update your status, providing insight into your availability or current focus<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n

      To turn on a DND mode:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

      1. Type \/status [status_name] dnd [period of time] in the message editor of any channel\/DM<\/li>\n\n\n\n
      2. \u00a0Press Enter to update your status with DND mode, providing insight into your availability or current focus<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n

        To remove your status:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

          \n
        1. Type \/clear-status in the message editor\u00a0<\/li>\n\n\n\n
        2. Press Enter to remove your status<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n

          Status must be between 1 and 128 characters in length.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

          Add people to channels<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

          The process of adding members to channels is simplified with Pumble native commands. To invite people to channels:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

          1. Navigate to the channel<\/li>\n\n\n\n
          2. Type \/invite @user_name in the message editor<\/li>\n\n\n\n
          3. Press Enter to complete the action<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n

            This action will send an invitation to the specified user to join the channel.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

            To invite user groups:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

            1. Navigate to the channel<\/li>\n\n\n\n
            2. Type \/invite @user-group_name in the message editor<\/li>\n\n\n\n
            3. Press Enter to complete the action<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n

              This action will send an invitation to all the user group members to join the channel.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

              Set yourself a message reminder<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

              If you receive a lot of messages on regular basis and find it challenging to reply to all of them, set reminders about the messages you\u2019d like to get back to later on<\/p>\n\n\n\n

              1. Type \/postpone [period of time] in the message editor of a channel\/DM or a particular thread<\/li>\n\n\n\n
              2. Press Enter to complete the action<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n

                You will receive a message reminder for the last message of the given channel\/DM\/ thread.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

                Display action text<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

                Inject personality and clarity into your messages by using action text to highlight important points or action items during the meeting. To display action text:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

                1. Navigate to the channel\/DM<\/li>\n\n\n\n
                2. Type \/me [text] in the message editor<\/li>\n\n\n\n
                3. Press enter to complete the action<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n

                  The text you provide will be formatted in italic.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

                  Shrug text<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

                  To convey a sense of ambiguity or uncertainty, use shrug text. To add a shrug your text:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

                  1. Navigate to the channel\/DM<\/li>\n\n\n\n
                  2. Enter \/shrug [text] in the message editor<\/li>\n\n\n\n
                  3. Press enter to complete the action<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n
