Only Admins and Owners can access workspace permissions.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Adjust workspace-wide settings and preferences in the workspace administration.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Mentions<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"translation-block\">Set who can use <strong>@channel<\/strong> and <strong>@here<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>People who can use @channel and @here in all channels, except #general<\/strong>:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Everyone (default)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Everyone, except guests <\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Owner and Admins only<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Owner only<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"note\">Users who do not have permissions to use mentions will not see them in the mentions list after entering the @ symbol or typing @here or @channel. If they type the whole mention, mention will be displayed as plain text.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Show warning when using @channel or @here<\/strong> (in channels with at least 6 members):<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Always<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>The first time each day<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Once<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Never (default)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>When a user wants to use a mention in a channel that has more than 6 members, the information modal comes up to ask him if he is sure because he will alert all channel members using one of these mentions.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"tip\">Separate channel settings override general workspace settings for mention permissions. Therefore, the settings for mentions from the Workspace permissions do not apply to #general.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Invitations<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>By default, any member can invite new people to your workspace.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>You can set <strong>who can invite new people to your workspace<\/strong> to:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Everyone, except guests (default)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Owner and Admins only<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Owner only<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Channel management<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Choose who can create, archive, remove members, and manage posting permissions in channels.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Who can create private channels<\/strong>:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Everyone, plus Multi-Channel guests (default)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Everyone, except Multi-Channel guests<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Admins and Owner only<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Owner only<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Who can create public channels<\/strong>:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Everyone, except guests (default)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Admins and Owner only<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Owner only<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Who can archive channels<\/strong>:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Everyone, except guests (default)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Admins and Owner only<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Owner only<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Who can remove members from private channels<\/strong>:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Everyone, except guests (default)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Admins and Owner only<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Owner only<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Who can remove members from public channels<\/strong>:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Everyone, except guests (default)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Admins and Owner only <\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Owner only<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Who can manage posting permissions in channels<\/strong>:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Everyone<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Admins and Owner only (default)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">User groups<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Set who can create and manage user groups (PAID feature).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Who can create and disable user groups:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Everyone, except guests<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Admins and Owner only (default)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Who can modify user groups:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Everyone, except guests<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Admins and Owner only (default)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"note\">Once created (@admins, @owner) they can only be deactivated and not deleted.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Messages<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Set who can send, edit and delete messages.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Who can send direct messages:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Everyone (default)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Everyone, except guests<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Owners and Admins only<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Owners only<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>You can also choose to notify users about the change.
