In the Preferences<\/strong> > Advanced<\/strong> page in Pumble you can customize your Enter key settings and choose whether pressing the Enter key on your desktop sends a message or begins a new line. Adjust this preference anytime by following the steps below.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Configure Enter key preferences<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

  1. Click on your profile picture in the top right corner<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  2. Select Preferences<\/strong> from the menu<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  3. Open the Advanced<\/strong> section<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  4. Under When writing a message, press Return to… <\/strong> select one of two options<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n

    If you opt for Send message<\/strong>, you can initiate a new line by using Shift + Enter<\/kbd>. Alternatively, if you choose Start a new line<\/strong>, you can send the message using Cmd + Enter<\/kbd> on Mac or Ctrl + Enter<\/kbd> on Windows\/Linux.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    Show link previews<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

    In this section, you can choose to see link previews in your messages. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

    Here’s how to enable them:<\/p>\n\n\n

          As a result, a link preview will be displayed in the messages you send.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

          Show out of office and do not disturb banners<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

          While in Advanced Preferences, you can also select whether out of office (OOO) and do not disturb (DND) banners will be displayed in group channels and direct messages.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

            When this feature is enabled, a banner appears above the message box to notify you that the user is not present.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

            Set confirmations and warnings<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

            Pumble lets you choose which confirmation modals and warnings are shown to you. You can do this in your Advanced Preferences. Here’s how:<\/p>\n\n\n\n
