Deactivating a member’s account<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

If some of your team members leave your Pumble workspace, you will be able to deactivate their account.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

To deactivate member’s account:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

  1. Navigate to the workspace name at the top left corner<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  2. Hover over Workspace settings<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n
  3. Select Manage members<\/strong> from the dropdown<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  4. Click on the three dots \"\"next to the user’s name
    <\/li>\n\n\n\n
  5. Click on Deactivate Account<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n
  6. Click Confirm<\/strong> in the pop-up dialog to complete the process<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n

    The member is now removed from the workspace. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

    Deactivated accounts remain visible in People & User Groups<\/strong> section of the app, and in Manage members<\/strong> section in the Workspace settings.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    Users can also be deactivated directly within the CAKE.com organization. Once deactivated, users can only be deleted from there. For detailed instructions, check out this article<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    Reactivating a member’s account<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

    If you need to restore a deactivated member, follow these steps:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    1. Navigate to the workspace name at the top left corner<\/li>\n\n\n\n
    2. Hover over Workspace settings<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n
    3. Select Manage members<\/strong> from the dropdown<\/li>\n\n\n\n
    4. Click on the three dots \"\" next to the user’s name in Manage members<\/strong> section<\/li>\n\n\n\n
    5. Click on Activate Account<\/strong> (or Activate as guest<\/strong> if you wish the user to be a guest in your Workspace)<\/li>\n\n\n\n
    6. Click Confirm<\/strong> in the pop-up dialog to complete the process<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n

      Owner and admins can deactivate\/reactivate a member’s account.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

      Deleting a user\u2019s account<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

      If you want to delete a user from your Pumble workspace, you will have to do it from your CAKE.com<\/a> account.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

      User must be deactivated<\/a> before they can be deleted from the workspace\/organization.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

      To delete a user\u2019s account:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

      1. Log in to your CAKE.com account<\/a><\/li>\n\n\n\n
      2. Navigate to the Members<\/strong> page<\/li>\n\n\n\n
      3. Click on a member<\/li>\n\n\n\n
      4. Click on the three dots<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n
      5. Select the Delete user<\/strong> option<\/li>\n\n\n\n
      6. Confirm the deletion<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n

        After deletion:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

          \n
        • User receives confirmation email<\/li>\n\n\n\n
        • User\u2019s personal data is permanently removed<\/li>\n\n\n\n
        • User\u2019s workspace data remains available<\/li>\n\n\n\n
        • User\u2019s name is replaced with an alias \u2018deleteduser\u2019<\/li>\n\n\n\n
        • User is removed from all pages containing their data<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n

          The deleted user loses access to the organization and their deleted profile. If re-invited, they are treated as new users.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

          If a deleted user belongs to other organizations, they will remain in those organizations unless specifically deleted.
