This guide will walk you through the basics of Pumble integrations, from finding and adding addons to understanding their functionality.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Only admins and workspace owners can install an addon. Once installed, any member (except single-channel guest users) can connect their account to use the addon.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Pumble supports different types of addons. The way an app is built determines its installation, management, and interaction within your workspace.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Find and add addons<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Explore the Pumble App Directory or browse the CAKE.com Marketplace<\/a> to find and add addons to your workspace:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

  1. Click on the three dots<\/strong> next to your Workspace name<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  2. Hover over Workspace settings<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n
  3. Click on Configure apps<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n
  4. Click on the Install<\/strong> button next to the app you want to add<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  5. Click Allow on the consent screen to complete the action<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n

    You may be redirected to an external website (that app\u2019s website) to allow the installation of the app.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    Another way to install Pumble Addons is through the CAKE.com Marketplace. Here\u2019s how you can do it:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    1. Click on the three dots<\/strong> next to your Workspace name<\/li>\n\n\n\n
    2. Hover over Workspace settings<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n
    3. Click on Configure apps<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n
    4. Click on Browse Marketplace<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n
    5. Select the addon you want to install<\/li>\n\n\n\n
    6. Click Install<\/strong> and allow access request<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n

      Upon installation of the addon, authorization is automatically granted. All the other Workspace users need to navigate to the Configure apps<\/strong> tab in the Workspace settings<\/strong> and click on Authorize<\/strong> to enable the app for individual use.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

      Create your own addon<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

      To create your own app, follow these steps:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

      5. Fill in the form to complete the action<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n

        The addon permission scopes<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

        Each addon has specific permission scopes, detailing the information it can access and how that information can be used. Scopes can be related to posting messages, performing actions, and accessing information. Be aware of which information the app can access and what it can do with the information it accesses, such as posting messages, modifying content, or creating channels.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
