Viewing unread messages<\/h2>\n\n\n

In the web app, you’ll see\u00a0Mentions<\/strong>\u00a0in your left sidebar or\u00a0Unread<\/strong>. And in the top left, you’ll see if the message is in the\u00a0DMs<\/strong> or\u00a0Threads<\/strong>.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n

To view a direct message:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

  1. Click from\u00a0Unreads\u00a0<\/strong>or\u00a0Mentions<\/strong>\u00a0to view the message<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  2. It’ll take you directly to the unread message<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n

    To indicate a new message in channel, channel name will be bolded.<\/p>\n\n<\/div>

    You can view unread messages in the Catch up section. This section will appear if you have at least 1 unread message.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    1. Tap on the Catch up<\/strong> button at the top of your screen<\/li>\n\n\n\n
    2. Select Mark as read<\/strong> or\u00a0Keep unread<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n

      Unread messages will appear as cards, and you can swipe left to keep them unread or swipe right to mark them as read.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

      Unread messages will also be shown in the sidebar on the left, and they will be bolded.<\/p>\n\n<\/div>
