Receive GitLab Notifications on Pumble via Webhooks
Use incoming webhooks to integrate GitLab and Pumble. With the GitLab and Pumble integration, you can receive notifications and collaborate with your team in one centralized place. This integration makes discussions and project management much easier, as your team members will never miss an important update again.
Here’s how you can set up this integration:
Step #1: Create an incoming webhook on Pumble #
To connect Pumble and GitLab, you will first need to create an incoming webhook. Once you create a webhook, GitLab will use it to send notifications directly to a Pumble channel. Here’s how you can create an incoming webhook:
- Click on +Add apps at the bottom of your left sidebar
- Click on Incoming webhooks
- Click on New webhook
- Select a channel
- Click on Add incoming webhook
- Edit webhook information and save settings
Step #2: Configure settings on GitLab #
Once you have created an incoming webhook, you can configure the integration settings on GitLab. To make the integration work, you will have to paste the webhook URL into GitLab.
Here’s how to do this:
- Hover over Settings
- Click on Integrations
- Select Pumble
- Paste the webhook URL and save changes
