Start using Pumble – Quick start guide
Welcome to Pumble — your go-to software for team communication and collaboration. With Pumble, you can improve communication within your team and collaborate more effectively.
To make things easier, we have created this quick start guide to show you how to use Pumble and get you started in no time.

Log in to Pumble #
Logging into Pumble is easy and simple, and you can do it in 2 ways:
- Passwordless login with email
- Log in with Google/Apple
If you haven’t signed up for Pumble yet or need help with registration, check our article.

When you log in with your email address, Pumble won’t require you to use a password. Instead, you will receive an email with an OTP code every time you log in. This makes your account more secure and eliminates the possibility of forgetting your password.
To log in with your email address, follow these steps:
- Type your email
- Haz clic en Continuar con correo electrónico
- Check your email for the OTP code
- Write the OTP code to log in
If you’re not receiving verification emails, it might be due to too many unused OTP codes. To fix this, simply open the last verification email and click the click here button to start receiving emails again. Always use your login code within 30 minutes to avoid this issue in the future.
Pumble also lets you log in by using your Google or Apple account. To do this, follow these steps:
- Haz clic en Continue with Google/Apple
- Select your email to complete the action
Set up your profile #
Once logged in, you can set up your profile so that other users can get to know you.
Here’s how to set up your Pumble profile:
- Click your profile picture en la esquina superior derecha
- Go to My profile
- Haz clic en pencil icon to add your job title and phone number
- Haz clic en Manage CAKE.com account to update your name, email, or profile picture
- Guardar cambios

Enviar mensajes #
You can send direct messages (DM) to other team members or message specific channels in your workspace.
Here’s how you can do this:
- Open a channel or DM where you want to send a message
- Write your text in the message field
- Presiona Enter to send your message or click on the ícono del avión de papel

Additional message features #
In Pumble, your messages don’t have to include only text, as you can customize them and make them more engaging for your teammates.
Messages in Pumble can also include:
- Archivos
- GIFs
- Emojis
- Menciones
- Video recordings
- Voice recordings

Video & audio calls #
If you want to connect face-to-face or voice-to-voice, you can use Pumble to start audio & video calls.
To use audio and video calls, follow these steps:
- Open a channel or DM you want to call
- Haz clic en audio/video call icon en la esquina superior derecha

Canales #
Channels represent a virtual space where team members can communicate and lead discussions. Users can exchange messages and share files within channels, making them visible to everyone in that channel.
In Pumble, available channels are located on the left sidebar.

Moreover, you can view the list of available channels by clicking on the All channels button in the sidebar.

You can arrange channels into sections and make your workspace more organized. To learn more, visit our article.
Opciones de canal #
When you click on the header of a channel, you can open the channel options. From here, you can do things such as:
- View channel details
- Set notification preferences
- Silenciar canal
- Rename channel (only the channel creator)
- Copy channel name or link
- Set posting permissions (only workspace owners and admins)
- Move channel to section
- Salir del canal

Hilos #
Pumble uses Threads to make conversations more organized and focused on specific topics. This feature keeps all messages in one place without cluttering the main channel or DM.
To reply in a thread, follow these steps:
- Hover over the message you want to reply to
- Click on the thread icon
- Escribe tu mensaje
- Presiona Enter or click on the ícono del avión de papel para completar la acción

Set status and pause notifications #
If you want to inform your teammates that you are currently in a meeting or that you are on a break, you can do this by setting your status.
To set your status in Pumble, follow these steps:
- Haz clic en smiley icon next to your profile picture
- Select your status
- Haz clic en Guardar para completar la acción

Pumble also lets you pause notifications if you don’t want to receive them.
- Haz clic en notification bell en la esquina superior derecha
- Select the pause duration
