Manage Your Time Zone Preferences

Adjusting your time zone preferences in Pumble lets you align communication seamlessly with your local time. Here’s how to configure it.

  1. Click on your profile picture at the top right corner / WS name in the top left corner
  2. Choose Preferences
  3. Open Time section
  4. Choose the time zone from the dropdown

Set time zone automatically is checked by default. Uncheck it to enable changing the time zone. If you’d like Pumble to automatically update your time zone when you’re travelling, tick the box.

  1. Tap on your Workspace icon to open the side menu
  2. Select Preferences
  3. Turn the switch on/off to to allow/disallow automatic time zone setting

The automatic time zone setting is turned on by default.

  1. Tap on your profile icon to open your profile menu
  2. Select preferences
  3. Turn the switch on/off to to allow/disallow automatic time zone setting

When Set time zone automatically setting is applied, the time zone is synced with your device’s time zone.

Regardless of the time zone adjustments, your message time stamps, reminders and notifications schedule will always be displayed in the local time of that specific time zone.

Time format preferences #

To adjust your preferable time format on Web/Desktop app:

  1. Click on your profile picture at the top right corner / WS name in the top left corner
  2. Choose Preferences
  3. Open Time section
  4. Select 12-hour or 24-hour time format to complete the action

Time format preferences cannot be adjusted on mobile apps.

Frequently asked questions #

Why can’t I select a time zone from the dropdown? #

Set time zone automatically is checked by default. Uncheck it to choose a time zone manually, or leave it ticked if you’d like Pumble to update your time zone as you travel.

Will changing my time zone shift the timestamps on old messages? #

No. Message timestamps, reminders, and notification schedules are always shown in the local time of the time zone that applies.

Can I switch between 12-hour and 24-hour time? #

Yes, on web and desktop. Open Preferences, then select Language & region, and select the format in the Time format dropdown.
