Personal or group DMs

Direct messages represent smaller conversations happening outside channels which can involve you and up to seven other team members.

Message one team member

Send message to one team member to talk directly without interrupting a channel and it won’t be seen by other users on the workspace. When you get reply, you’ll get a notification, and can continue the conversation.

Group messages

If you want to send message to more than one team member, to a group of maximum 7 people, you can do it without making a new channel. Just add all people to a conversation and start the conversation.
